I'm looking at this '69 Sport Satellite vert and would like your help in verifying how original it is. 2 owner car, one repaint in '92 with under 1000 miles since. Maybe 28k original miles, contacting original owners to find out. The only change supposedly is electronic ignition and wheels/tires.

Good looking car !
leafs are not original , added an extra spring under the main . coil might be original   LOL
I would buy the purple Chal sitting beside it  :alan2cents:

Checked and he already sold that one, plus a '71 Hemi Cuda vert (originally a 383 GC), and a Superbird, and a '67 Belvedere II.

Looks like a super clean car.  I don't have a lot of experience with original B-Bodies.  Can you see if the door latch screws are painted?  Should they be natural?  Also, if looks like the foam gasket behind the heater (seen on the engine bay side) has paint on it.  Might be they left all the dash stuff in when they repainted the car.  But over all it looks freaking super clean.

What's the story on the FC7 Challenger?   ;)

Here is a better shot of the driver door

This are the screws I was talking about.  Are they normally pained on a B-Body?

Good question.  They are painted on my '68 Charger but that is not original.  Also, in decoding the fender tag the "B7" on the second row from the bottom seems to be throwing off the decoding websites I usually use as there is not a space for it. The "627" indicates it was a late build on June 27.

He said $100k. More pics of the Chally, his Hemi Cuda clone, 3 Vipers, and his other cars.

$100K for a real 6 pack convertible?    That seems super cheap!!!!

Wow! Some great cars! The Sport Satellite has a nice look to it. Obviously they sprayed everything under the hood and if you can break parts away from the main structure without tearing paint you could really improve the look underhood with some proper detailing. As Psycho said someone has added extra main leafs to the rear springs to bring the tail up a bit (I've done this myself several times). The Sport Satellite should have the rocker trim this one has plus the wheel opening moldings. The stripe package was two pinstripes that ran along the lower body line and over the wheel wells as I recall. That weird stripe on this one along lower body line is not original. It might sound nice with those glass packs. Overall it looks like a great car to me with nice options.

Good luck with the Satellite as it's a real beauty. That guy had many beauties and this is that divorce deal, isn't it? Having to sell all those cars because of it could be one of those triggers that gets a woman hurt. Hope it all comes out in the end for all concerned.

Thanks, this one is not the divorce deal.
