Hi guys,
New to the group
Got a 73 Barracuda with a 440. It has centerline wheels right now but I wanted to put back the original 14" steel rims that have 235x14 on them right now.
What is the biggest tire I can get mounted on the steel rims?
Any help appreciated..

Also..did Chrysler only make 1 kind of 440 so is it a wedge ??

Welcome to the site. Its going to be tough finding 14" rubber. Even 15" is limited these days.

Welcome to the forum from Buffalo, NY.

The only thing I can offer on your tire question is this:

https://www.tiresandco.ca/tire-equivalence-advice.html

This info only speaks to what will fit the rim.  Whether it will fit the car is a different question - can't help you much there.

Look through this thread for some tire information.  There are several threads on tires. You can search tire on the main home page and you will find a ton of reading.  The link above is the longest thread so far.

Welcome from B.C. Canada. Yes, it is tough to find wider 14 inch tires these days and those rims are fairly narrow as well.
