Opinions on Colour ?

I get a lot of strange phone calls throughout my day, but I just had one that got me thinking....or at least Googling 

Guy asked me if the newer Mini colour "Spice Orange" was the same as FK5 Burnt orange ?

At first I thought he was crazy...then I started looking at pictures  Has anybody noticed these Mini's out there ?

  I think it the clear coat, It lightens the color a bit. when that color in single stage has any age to it, it gets dark from fade.

If you Google pictures of both colours in all different lights, they really do look close.....I would have to see a Mini in person, the newer colours tend to also have pearl in them

   Newer colors do see to have more metallic in them? I think you would have to see up close ?
