Power Brake Booster Pushrod

Hi,

I was checking the length of the pushrod and master cylinder depth, on a 1973 Challenger. I wiggled the pushrod and it came loose, from inside the booster. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get it back seated, in place?

Most of the ones I have seen are threaded in with a lock nut to keep it in place.

The pushrod will just slide back in.There is a slot inside the booster that will let it back in.Move the pushrod around and it will slide back in
