Have a 71 Challenger.. Is it normal for the steering column to get fairly warm or do I have a problem to address??
Thanks in advance..

Dakota

I've never noticed any kind of heat buildup in the column on my '70.   Where on the column is it getting hot?

do you have the lower seal/ retainer installed? My column was missing the seal and heat was literally blowing up the shaft and into the car, the key would get hot.   see link for description. https://www.yearone.com/Product/challenger-cuda/bh194
