I have R11 on my fender tag but I think R31 only shows up on line 10 of the broadcast sheet

This one right?

I'm very curious if there are more of this option on tags.

the earliest '70 model year E-body fender tag info I have with "R31" on the fender tag is "scheduled" 7/1/70 (SPD-701)

it was "SCHEDULED" 4/3/70 - post your broadcast sheet & I'll tell you when it was "In Plant / In Process"

do you have an original door sticker?

avatar_6bblgt @6bblgt Thank you. I didn't get anything with this car except a title. The previous owner said no paperwork was found in the car. No fender tag. Car was painted with a colour change so no door sticker. Everybody here has helped me at one time or another to determine what the car was when it left the factory. I get people at shows asking about the fender tag so I decided to have one made with as much knowledge about the car as I could without doing a complete forgery. The car still has all original sheet metal except the hood & the rear valance so there were many places where I found original colour. Where the tag would've had the VON, I just put 70cuda. I used the decoder to help make up what I knew about the car. This is how the car is today. I bought it this way, mostly....Joe

I think it's a great looking combo in it's current configuration too.

Everything shipped yesterday, don't hesitate to let me know if there are any issues

Quote from: 6bblgt on June 05, 2025, 11:02:47 PMYou are correct, my SPD is 4/3/70  You are a better man than me if you can determine the in plant date from the original door tag that only shows 4 / 70 + the VIN
My car is VERY original, I am the 3rd owner and have had it since 1977.  From the broadcast sheet my Sequence # is 1055192 - VON is M03453 - anything you can tell me that I don't already know is much appreciated.
I also happen to know that an identical twin of my car followed it down the assembly line in 1970 (VIN 294245 - Seq.# 1055193 - VON M03454)  This car sold at Mecum Kissimee a couple of years ago. I made sure it got to the owner of VIN 245 before it was sold - I don't know where it went after that.  I know this for certain because I found the broadcast sheet for it in my car (behind passenger seat) in 1993.  From 1993 until 2020 when the restoration of my car began, I was of the mind that I had 2 build sheets for my car (found the one for my car under the back seat)
