replacing windshield in 73 Cuda what size seal?

AMD shows a window ribbon seal in either 5/16 or 3/8

which one should I use?

or do not use and have installer ( old school shop)....lay down a bead of sealer?

going with tinted glass....

3/8" works, that makes your trim fit better.

The correct ribbon seal to use is dependent on how thick the glass is. You might take a look at this first before buying a seal. Make sure to dry fit everything, including the trim, before you install the glass.

Good tip. 3/8 did not work in my Challenger and I didn't test fit it first so trim wouldn't fit! Talk about panic trying to get the windshield out without breaking it! Amazing how sticky that tape gets!
