I know there is the difference between the Barracuda and Challenger door handles.
In regards to the reproduction handles. Is there more than one group doing that? It appears OER is one of them and it appears they make the two different contours. I see so many on Ebag, are they all coming from one source? I know Mopar made a straight version in the 90's, did they do a reproduction of that as well? Thanks, Mark

Cuda Cody

@MoparDave  might know the answer.  I'm happy with the ones I've used and I would guess that it's one place that is making them all?   :notsure:

Burdar

I got mine from Dales Cuda Shop when they were still around.  Maybe Dave carries the parts they used to sell?

Actually, the factory standardized the handles at some point.  I know it's been discussed before.  I can't remember if it was sometime during 71 production or if it was later.  I know my 73 originally came with straight handles.  I put concave on mine since that's what was available.

MoparDave

DCS basically supplies that handle to most that sell them including OER/classic.

We have 7 Sets in stock currently.

Thanks for the feedback.
These are a great price. I'm trying to find out if these are really for the Challenger. The guy said they were straight. I wasn't sure if they reproduced straight ones. You have to pay a little attention to the contour.
I really need a pair. I can't have my daughter driving around with cruddy looking door handles. Thanks, Mark

Those will fit your Challenger if that is what you are worried about. You won't really notice that they aren't contoured.

Rutro

Thanks
I have a 70 Challenger, so I was also hoping they had the concave contour that was used on that year.

Burdar

If they truly are straight, then they will work just fine on a Challenger or a Cuda.  They certainly LOOK straight in the pictures.  A 70 Challenger should have concave handles but for that price, I'd jump on them.  :alan2cents:

there must be at least 2 different styles & the above ones (based on listed part number) are listed ONLY as Challenger  :dunno:

ACD04-81220 1970-74 Challenger
ACD04-81210 1972 Barracuda

listing is incorrect. we were buying the same handle direct from Taiwan for a while.  fitment is 70-74

@Rutro  12/73 they superseded the challenger handle to the cuda handle . Either handle will fir the door just depends how important the little contour is for the  folks

I still don't understand what handles are being reproduced/available   :dunno:

1970 - early 1971 concave Challenger #2999882-2999883
1970 - early 1971 convex Barracuda #2999816-2999817
late 1971 - 1974 flat E-body #3760214-3760215

Ok thank you everyone for the inputs.
If i do want the 70/71 Challenger contour, is there a reproduction handle available still?
Were the ones that Dales Cuda Shop originally sold correct?

Dave, do you have ones that have the curve?
I'm getting confused again....aghhh

Burdar

Dave sells the correct curved Challenger handles that Dales used to sell.

Brads70

I bought repops from Dales Cuda shop 7-8 years ago and they are curved, not straight. If that helps?

HEMICUDA

There were two suppliers of the "concave" Challenger handles, DCS and the ones we had made.
