My manual has a section for this but I have never seen it in a old car. Has anyone out there seen one or actually have a E-body with speed control or even tilt wheel for that matter... lol. Would love to hear about it and how well they work and see some pictures if anyone has.

With just a little bit of hard work.

No tilt wheel in an E Body, but speed control yes...I've restored a couple of them...
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Mine's tagged for N88{speed control} and I had the foresight to keep all the components for reinstall even after years of not thinking I'd ever use it..After realizing  just how rare it actually is I ended up putting it back on the car..

I wonder how complicated it would be to install a late B or J-body tilt column in an E-body.  There are aftermarket tilt columns out there but a J-body unit might be easier and cheaper.

A thread from CC.com about the late B body column conversion. From what I read, minor fab work involved, but electrical is a plug-in. The columns came from Saginaw who supplied them to GM.

That would be the way to go. I sold a lot of aftermarket columns when I worked at the Hot Rod shop and I was never impressed with the quality to be honest. I always prefer OEM for quality and performance.

Remove the steering wheel, it's easy & gives you better access....   If you're old & fat like me removing the drivers seat is an even better option...

Shelbydogg did it with a Cordoba column.
