Yes, I was searching v5x and found those pictures. Picture posted is the crap that was put on my v5y car. Typical dealer add on after the paint job.  And yes, the orange car trim was white, but I thought that what was left when the chrome had peeled off.
Any chance of rolls of this stuff being around?

I believe Valiant, Duster & maybe Satellite used the same mouldings for 1971 - here's a gold moulding, but not enough to see much detail

Is your car an original Orange ev2 car with v5Y on the tag?  That would be quite odd.

Not a waste of time at all.  Thanks for the thread about something one in a hundred has some interest in. 
  I am always looking for Cuda v5_ moldings.  I don't have a single piece.
