I think it's 1.8#, it should be in the instruction manual.

I'm sure it would be, except, I bought my stuff piece at a time before the E body kits were available. Evaporator is actually largest "street rod" box available at that time. Just thought someone who actually purchased an E body kit would know the specs.  jt

Instruction sheet says 1.8lbs or 1lb 12oz. Though if yours is custom, it may take a little more or a little less. Good starting point though.

I am installing e-body Vintage Air system in my 73 right now, and it calls for 1.8 lbs or 1 lb 12 oz, as stated by Goody and JpRngr.

It's listed at the bottom of page 4 of the 571074-EDZ instruction manual...

So far, only a few hiccups that I've run into so far... have had to improvise just a tad to get things together like they want you to, but is impossible to do the way they tell you...

For what it's worth, I backed out my Evap temp probe ever so slightly and got the system to cycle a bit longer. I couldn't seem to get below 42° vent temps before doing that.

It's melting hot here in Texas, I'll take all the cold air that I can get.
