What are these nuts and bolts from?

How long are they Murray? As mentioned, the corrosion seems to indicate they were exposed to the elements a lot.

I don't know if they were originally mated. But two bolts and four nuts? What are the extra two nuts from?
I expect they have been in the basement for a couple years or so. Since I was given "the word" about painting parts in the house I've done it elsewhere, except for last winter when she was away for a couple weeks.   8)  They were in a box with a couple rags, a couple pieces of Scotchbrite, another couple short bolts that I didn't paint and a sheet of sandpaper.
It's just bugging me where they are from and why they aren't back on the car. I put over 2500 miles on this summer without them so I guess they aren't terribly critical.  :dunno:
