what year is this hood?

To help determine if it is a genuine shaker or a conversion, look for the drain holes in the shaker brace too.
Many shaker conversions lack that detail. Don't assume if the drain holes are there it is real, it just requires closer examination.

In the pic of the original 70 hood you can see them too.

Here's an NOS hood that was sold. The asking price was$8500.

I assume this was at Carlisle? You didn't by chance get the sellers name or contact info for this hood? I'm looking for a real Challenger shaker hood.

It was on a for sale ad that was on moparts.
Sold sometime mid-June based on the ad.

He also had a used 70 Cuda Shaker hood for $6500 that sold.

yes it was at carlisle.  No I did not get the sellers information.
