'70 Barracuda B5/B5 225 /6 3spd ... about as bare bones as they came

I spy a cruise control on the steering column.   :takealook:

Good eye Cody. Ad is listed in Spokane, but according to the map it is on the west side.  :bricks:

no R/T badging anywhere??

Flat hood, and Cuda Center steering wheel cap on the rim blow wheel. Nice car with the options, if not so far I would take a look at it.

Good catch.  And wouldn't there be a black RT grille?  Or did SE/RT's get an argent grille?

Must be an N-code SE I think, too bad he didn't add an R/T hood. At least it has rallye gauges.

:clapping:  You are super with numbers, man!   :brainiac:   I totally forgot you can get an "N" code 383 with a non RT.  JH23L, JH23N and JS23N for three configurations on the 383 engine, right?

Question Dan, so with the Carter carb, is that the lower performance 383, 2 barrel car. Probably no way to be certain without the vin. I have a Insurance Cheater JH29N and has Four Barrel on the fenders. It is coded with A31 and came with the 956 radiator as well. It has a flat hood. with two tags.

likely a 383 optioned non R/T , largest engine available without the R/T pkg

1970
383 2bbl - 290 hp - blue engine
383 4bbl - 330 hp - blue engine CARTER AVS - automatic ONLY (same cam as the 2bbl engine above)
383HP 4bbl - 335 hp - orange engine HOLLEY (same cam as the 440HP 4bbl)

the 383HP was for the performance "image/badged" cars 'cuda, Challenger R/T, Road Runner, Super Bee, Charger, & other E & B-bodies with manual transmissions

an orange 383HP is "rare" to be found in a Barracuda, Gran Coupe, Challenger, Challenger SE, Sport Satellite, Coronet 500, etc.

I have yet to see a broadcast sheet for a non-performance "image/badged" N-code automatic car with an axle package - I would hope/guess this combination resulted in a 383HP orange HOLLEY equipped engine between the fender wells ??

is the JH29N a 4-speed car?

there  is a BH23N0 car in TX - EW1, H6E4, E63, D21, A31 & M46  :looney:

it is nice to see flat hood cars restored properly!
