What are we looking at?
The fender tag plates and VIN plate are definitely from an AAR but this 'Cuda is equipped with a 440-6 and the side exhausts are missing...

Can someone tell me about the history of this car?

it looks like an AAR with a 440 /6 added to the car , for the rebody question , like every E-body you want to buy , you need a physical inspection of different point of the car to figure out ...

It has more Grand Coupe parts then AAR parts, but I  think it's a huge leap to classify the car as a rebody on a public forum without personal knowledge of the car :dunno:

More like a re-tagged car then re-body.
Lots of indications that it started life as a Gran Coupe.

Car is a cluster-fu** It also has an AC dash but it's not an AC car.....just proves that A LOT can happen in 51 years  :alan2cents:

Car looks like a fifty owner from Quebec to me. The car that matches the data tags would have been really nice when new.

don't see torque boxes. Pretty sure all Transam cars had them...
