I just caught wind of a triple white 71 convertible just like this but with a slant six...I'm trying to get an invite to check it out... :fingerscrossed:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

The front end height would be easy enough to fix.  Many of the other things wrong with it, which we may have already discussed in the last 3 or 4 threads Masondixon has started on it, would be more of a challenge to correct.
I do like the white ghost stripes.
Interesting it has a "1970" vanity plate on a 71.  Must have transferred the plates from a 70 he used to own?
A member here is proposing a possible trade of a U code for my V code.  You can see what my 71s vanity plate is.
If I did the deal and transferred my plates, which still have 2-1/2 years left on them, I guess people would think I was trying to misrepresent my car!

I suppose if they were wanting to misrepresent this car by using that license plate, they wouldn't have plastered 1971 all over the ad. I think you are okay with any license plate number although seems odd to me to use a plate number that doesn't match the car.

With a little TLC, this could be a nice car. Listed price might be a bit optimistic but if you get it closer to $50/55k it would be worth a closer look.  :alan2cents:

Interesting go-wing.  I've never seen one that sits as low as the one on this car.

It certainly looks a lot better than the spoiler on this car!  :haha:
