1971 Dodge Challenger R/T full nut and bolt restoration in 2016.
The car has 300-500 miles since restoration 79,000 on frame.
Flawless bright orange paint job. This was a 120K plus restoration. All numbers matching car the factory engine was pulled and rebuilt to a bored to a 347 that now makes 430 H.P.
The car has heat and air condition.
I have a fully documented book of the restoration.
4 speed manual transmission with pistol grip shifter.
The car has a nice thumping cam and exhaust that sounds fantastic.

70,000 obo.

Seems like it would be a good buy at like $55k  :notsure:

Cool Challenger!
I would say $50k - $55k max. :notsure:
That's what I was thinking too. I really like that it has a 340 motor and 4 speed!

If sold at Barrett Jackson for $55K, what did the seller actually take home in his pocket? $48K or something ??

I don't see mileage listed in the Barrett clip, but don't think its value has gone up that much in 4-5 years whether it sat or was driven. I'd offer $50k if you are truly interested and go from there.

It is a pretty sweet looking car (from pics) and 4-speed is a bonus!!

I really like the orange and black look. This car appears to be in good shape and is cheaper than the `cudas I've been looking at. Seems like a good "starter" e-body to have fun with on weekends  :D

I've been thinking of selling but it's hard to get a good market price on the 71 R/T's, especially projects.

The worm man has been trying to sell this 71 R/T project for a few months now.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/164931498159?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Deffd2e4ff1da41968b5348ac4c14dc79%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D184912532607%26itm%3D164931498159%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A022fa934-daac-11eb-951c-4643648b0981%7Cparentrq%3A63c97d1417a0a74475f629ddffdedc35%7Ciid%3A1

After 3 or 4 Ebay attempts the bidding finally met the reserve this time but not sure if the bids are real or shills.

Is a 2 pedal 71 R/T project really worth that?

I probably would sell my 3 pedal big block 71 R/T driver/project for that kind of money.

Fender R/T badges AND R/T stripe.  Is that correct?  For some reason I was thinking the fender emblem was deleted if the R/T stripe was ordered.

Is it possible to remove the R/T badges? Are they drilled?

I've seen that before on some 71 R/T restorations and/or clones. All I have to say is, pick ONE R/T badging, and one only!
