The Tail Light Panels are different on 70 & 71 Challengers.

This is a 1970 Tail Light panel. 

1970 Challenger tail Light panels have 5 cutouts all the way across the panel with one in the middle.

1971 Challenger Tail Light panels have 6 cutouts with no cutout in the middle of the panel.
