 Yes, fuel injection is very nice. But like this car, I  prefer to be blown.

1/2 of that value is in the engine alone

@blown motor that's right up your alley

Haha! Don't tempt me. It would be like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I wonder what the fuel mileage on that thing would be. Anyone have an idea on horsepower or how streetable it would be? I didn't have something like this in mind but that looks cool and damn that black paint is shiny.

Ad states the car has "never been drag raced or abused".

so what is the purpose of having a blower if your not going to drag it?   Just to be pretty at car shows?

cool looking ride for sure!

It also states Dyer 8-71 which unless they changed they use to take a standard 4bbl manifold & bolt an adapter on top then mount the blower to the adapter.....   Yes you will build some boost but the restriction means you also build heat...... A serious blower install has a manifold with a big open plenum that the blower bolts directly to.....

Oh, then theres that big old pulley on the blower & by looking it seems pretty clear the crank pulley is smaller.... So the blower is under driven...

But hey thats allot of bling on top of your engine....

Fuel mileage can be very reasonable / efficient If you can keep your foot out of it  :burnout:
Streetable is no issue if you can keep your footout of it , things happen fast when you get on it
HP is variable depends how the engine is built , compression ratio cam etc & the amount of boost you push into the engine , , I built a mild 440 with 8/71 with 6 psi boost & it made 880 HP

I think that seems like a pretty good deal . . .

blown motor

It looks like a fun toy but I know next to nothing about blowers. My Challenger isn't nearly stock so the fact that this is highly modified doesn't throw me.

I agree, a friend of mine had a 69 Firebird - big block and a blower and had decent mileage. He also never drove fast or 'spirited'.
People could never figure out why he built a blown BB, he could have had a six cyl in it for the way he drove it.

I don't know if it is an Ontario wide thing or not, but another friend of mine built a blown 396 and put it in a (I think), 1975 corvette. The local police hassled him about obstructed vision... a lot.
