Good find, Alan.  Maybe I'll save some gas money this weekend.  :)

RUNCHARGER

it could be tweaked into a neat car. Not for a $35k buy in though.

I agree and my first thought is that $35K seems high too...........HOWEVER....You could not build a car for that price.

Lets assume the body and paint was done correctly, there's $10K-$15K minimum right there, what's it cost to build a motor ? $5K-$7K?  redo the interior $5K ? mechanical - fuel system-cooling system-brake system etc...another $5K-$10K minimum ....I'm being very generous on the low side and you're already  at $25K and you haven't bought a car yet ??
Then start with a rare car that's numbers matching like a 74 360 4spd 1 of 396 ever made.....and what do you have ?

Most people buy a rust bucket project for $8K thinking they're going to "restore" it for another $10K....good luck :drunk:

This thing is a nice hope in a go.....maybe another $1000 or so fixing and changing things around, you could be it and drive home, not buy it and spend 5 years busting knuckles  :alan2cents:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Nice.  You were right on with the $35k guess.   :clapping:

Yep the finance numbers pretty much tells you what there thinking price wise.
