This looks like a fairly solid start, though the missing engine is a strong negative factor.  Rare color combo.  But for one who doesn't have a stash of parts to use and the skills to do much of the work themselves, no doubt a buyer would end up far underwater with 6 figures in a non #s automatic restored T/A if they bought it to do a checkbook restoration at a good shop.

I suspect the seller is the Mopars5150 gang, who run sort of a reality show on YouTube running around finding barn finds to flip.

Dang, that's a step starting price for what you get!      :Thud:

Yes: That would be hard to work with at that price and then it's auto with standard gauges. B5 is about the only thing going for it. Personally I love Challengers but for that amount of cash I'd look for a first gen Viper driver instead. I hope the car gets saved though. I agree, maybe the right guy has the parts in his hoard and is looking for a home for them and does his own body and paint.

:o That seems crazy money for what you get? Then, Imagine what you can't see...

I wonder what the V is before the 4-70 date on the door sticker?
It's hard to price projects. Sad fact at this time is that unless a car is a hemi car or a wing car or something of that caliber, even if you bought a project like this for $1, you'd still be far underwater value wise if you paid a shop to do the bulk of the resto work.
But oddly it still seems like people will pay a high price for a project, but as I've found trying to sell my V code, it's hard to get a decent offer for a good turn key restored car.
I guess people overestimate their own abilities and underestimate just how much money a ground up restoration will end up costing.  :alan2cents:

I think you're right on that. A person would be so much further ahead buying your car IMO and I find it to be a lot more interesting and unique (let alone much more rare) being a 71. But of course to each their own.
If a person were restoring a J-code, the one listed last week would be a lot better way of spending your time than this T/A, it had a superior option package.
Of course I said that one was too pricey as well. But it was twice the deal this one is.
