Tough to believe that it sold for that kind of money. For me, heavily modified cars are less valuable.

Yes but could you replace it for that? Starting with nothing build that car for $77K ..... I'm not so sure on that? Todays prices are crazy, not just the cars but parts too. They seem to be drying up/less plentiful than say 10 years ago.

Maybe ten years ago....but these modified cars are the hottest ticket these days....just check out any big auction results  :alan2cents:

Swamp Donkey

This car sold for 165,000. Not sure it's 90,000 nicer than 303's car.  But there is some value in the restomod world.

And the car from my above post was definitely nice.  But nothing out of the ordinary that could not be ordered up and bolted on other than the interior.
