Either way this one may be worth saving. Did they really screw up JF instead of FJ on the datatag from the factory?

Could be some hillbilly doing a poor job on some codes.

looks like a real 340 4-speed 1973 'cuda

the paint code: JF1 = "mist green"

As said before, JF1 is the paint code. Looks legit to me. Rare color as well. IMO should be restored properly.

:iagree: Yup...nice 340 4speed in a rare colour with white stripes and white interior would look super cool...but it would take some big balls to paint a car that colour  :alan2cents:

If that fender tag is fake, some one did an excellent job on the patina!

If I owned that car, it would definitely be that color!  I think that is a cool color!   :bigthumb:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Looks like good work in the photo, nice!

I also bought one, 1973 JF1 Cuda, but don't have it yet (it's in container somewhere on the ocean).

So far i found five 1973 Cuda's in JF1 colour and waiting for more to appear.

I'm with ya... think'n a year into it you'd be wishing it was painted a different color.

I'm one for originality but  :barf:

My 73 was originally JF1, have thought about taking it back to that , sublime now..
Love green , not big fan of JF1 , but dont hate.

May go back to JF1 , but definitely keeping the 440 and 4 speed, had the 318 and TF when I was driving my Nana's 65 Fury III as daily driver for a few years.

Dare to be different! I'd never pick that color but when it's all original you got to keep it that way sometimes.
