I would love to have a clone.  There's a few I've been keeping my eye on.  they are so cheap compared to the real thing.  but look close enough for me.

I'd rock that daytona all over!

Is it just me, or is that a big buck for this aforementioned clone? AND, Ben says she's a 50-50 car as well!

That rear wing looks huge at the upper level.

Yeah, I was offered that car at 30K Canadian a couple years ago, I had just bought my 71 Challenger, and could not find time for the 5-hour drive to go see it in person... The current seller probably got it for that or lesss, it is actually a 70 Charger R/T underneath, color is Lamborghini orange, all Daytona parts are fiberglass and light are fixed with removeable covers, and as has been noted, no rear window plug...
The seller has had it for sale since then...

Another local clone was for sale a few years back Red one), much better-done, and with a 472 crate Hemi, for 50K canadian, timing was again not right, but it is still around, who knows...

Is the red one a factory sunroof, 70 R/T? A Quebec fellow living in B.C. had it for years then moved back to Quebec.

Nope, no sunroof, I don't recall ever seeing a sunroof 70 Charger around here...

He may have sold it here. I can't remember his name right now, he was a pretty good guy. It was on the cover of a Canadian Parts warehouse catalogue that was based in Prince George B.C. He lived in Vanderhoof.

RUNCHARGER - I know of a sunroof 69 R/T that was cloned into a Daytona that was painted red and had a 1970 black SE interior installed in it. Does this fit the description of the car you are thinking about?? Was supposed to be sold from the USA to BC back in the early 90s I think. Old owner is trying to track it down. When I get home tonight, I will post a picture of it. Any chance you still have a copy of that parts catalog? Thanks for any help you can provide.
