I wonder where he "heard" the production figures for T/A's with bench seats, and if the same holds true for AAR's ?

I think the only thing salvageable is the wiper arms.

I wondered that too. That's not an option I would want, especially for a T/A or AAR, but it would be very unique. How many of those are  still around?

Back around 1974 my friend bought a running and driving lime green , bench seat, auto on the column T/A for $400. Never thought they were that rare?

Where is the other 90% of the car? By the time you got it put back together you could have bought  a restored T/A and have money left over.

Another poor clown who thinks he can restore the car for next to nothing and it will sit in a garage collecting dust.

That one will cost well over 100k to get it near completion. Mega metal work.

Guy in our club bought his FJ6 AAR in 1972.  It was a column standard dash car. He converted it to floor shift and rallye gauges in the 90's.

Most of these were not ordered cars. So there's an theory they don't have a lot of options to keep the price down.

A friends T/A had dealer installed rallye gauges and rear speakers. Had invoices to prove it.

People did things a little different then too. Friend bought a 70 SS 396 325hp Camaro of original owners widow. Car had dealer install 454 LS6 and high end corvette-only radio. Have complete doc on this. Even notes with research before purchase.
