As far as I can figure, if we are to be quarantined to our homes for 30 days we would need to use toilet paper.
Our septic systems and piping are not designed to handle cut up rags or crumpled up notebook paper.
That's the worry I think.  Everyone is so dependent on going to the store once a week that very few folks have supplies to last more than a week.
It comes down to having full dependence on the system.  If it fails we have major issues.

So I get hand sanitizer, cleaning products, canned and frozen foods but what is up with stocking a years supply of toilet paper, is there something I`m missing here? :dunno:
Well, they DID say it was a pretty $hitty disease to contract.  :D

Ya run outta of Toilet paper, go use the shower. Or get creative.

Everybody is so used to a pampered lifestyle and have no clue on getting resourceful.
Or do better with less.

Go backpacking for 2 weeks and then let me know how much Toilet paper you brought with you.

Even if you are quarantined for 30 days, you can get anything delivered to your home nowadays!
This is just a case of mimetism, people seeing other people buying up TP and not wanting to be the one not doing it, without knowing why...

Exactly!

If this was 1972 or even later, this chaos wouldn't be near what it is now at this time.
