I always wanted an original 1972 V21 performance hood Cuda.....and this guy called me before advertising it, which I appreciate, but he was kinda flakey about his price and location....

...and otherwise bad timing for me, it's a great cool car for somebody if it can be bought right !

I agree on the V21 Basin Street Blue!  I like the color keyed grille.

Saved pictures of these from several years ago.

I clicked on the kiji link Alan provided but it didn't work for me.

Some good info on the V21 for '72 Cuda's at "the other" site:

The one I posted above sold already within about 6 hours of putting the ad up... :console:

Looks like Mason just posted a possible TB3 blue V21 car

As our most  prolific poster, you have restored many cars.  I'm just curious if you have kept any.
I never hear about your fleet.
Yes I  know you're  building the modified convert

Alexcuda

What was it listed for on Kijiji?

Well Mr. Cuda, I will give you a complete run done of all the cars I currently own if you do the same....You keep dropping hints of some pretty cool cars you own, but never a complete list.... :drooling:

I'm living a pretty rich life, building all these cool cars, but financially I'm pretty poor and in debt up to my arse... like most people :'(

I've always said that I enjoy restoring them more then owning them...Even when I finish the current convertible I'm working on, I have no room to keep it at home...I will have to pay $160/month to store it in a container about 10 mins away from home, which will be a pain in the ass every time I want to go out for a drive... :headbang: :stayinlane: not to mention the cost of insurance and gas etc...

I currently own:
1971 318 Barracuda convertible (under construction)
1973 340 Cuda (stripped shell- builder...trying to sell as a finished project)
2017 RAM Laramie Limited (daily driver)
2017 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus (wife's car actually)
2010 16" open trailer

That's it, pretty sad eh ?  If you want to talk about cool cars I've owned in the past, that's a different story....of the 52 restored cars on my website currently, I USED to own 14 of them...but they're long gone  http://www.alangallantautomotiverestoration.com/PAST-RESTORATIONS.html  I've also owned about 18 1972-74 E bodies back in the 80's-90's but most were parts cars.

Coming up on 40 years of playing with these things... :tired:

V21 never appealed to me. I prefer black it all out..or... none of it.

The blue 72 above is absolutely stunning IMHO. I'm partial to the 72-74 tail lights and grille.

Hey Alan,  I said that you've restored many cars and I asked if you've kept any.  That's all.
I'm new on here and  I know you like the Plymouth probably better than the dodge, but simply asked if there was something that was special enough to not let go.  You reference in this thread that you like the 72 stripe package, now I  know that you have a 73 project that you could add that to.

What do I consider my cars? I have cars I driven continuously over the years, and worked on extensively. Those are "my" cars. I have others that are core, investment or spare.
The wife always says, you can only keep 3, and I laugh so my 3 ebodies are
Orange 71 340 4spd
Burnt orange  70 340 3spd, now 440-4  dana, flat hood twin to the m46 car

Basin Street Blue, V21, color keyed grille, no vinyl top, 340/4spd with Keystones Klassics - heck I`d even take one like that with a 318.  :drooling:

Just to add a little to this.  V21 is one I've been looking to purchase for some time.  I would really prefer a sunroof v21 car.  The only one I had a shot at was way too expensive for me.  I'll keep dreaming.  Here are some colors to add to this.

Alan, did you get a fender tag readout on the original car you had listed?  Curious as to it's originalities.
