MIDWESTERN COUNCIL OF SPORTS CAR CLUBS   WWW.MCSCC.ORG  hosts championship series of W2W amature racing (some pros also attend).. and HPDE road course lapping sessions....and an annual championship series of HSAX competition (possibly the only one in existence in North America).   I've been active with the MCSCC for the past 10-years.

Also, consider the SCCA SOLO II (2) medium-speed pylon events all across North America.   There a a multitude of related clubs that sanction similar events.. commonly following the SCCA SOLO II rules/classes.

The SCCA has recently started a series of HPDE events across the country at various road courses.
