Yes, thanks for sharing.  I've not seen any pictures like this. greatly appreciated.

Always wondered why the entire back was left on the dash piece.   It sounds like the reason they left the whole heater part on was just because they could cover it up and not have to rework a separate new heater delete panel.  Money is at the root of course.

I figured 400 was about value for these, but @VCODE your saying just the block off plate is worth 350.00.  clips must be another 25.

@C_B5  I would love to get that part number.

I think what GL is selling is worth about the $400 -$350 the plate alone when you find them may be up to $200
Are you trying to build a heater delete car?  If so you will need parts I have never seen for sale.

I do not have a heater delete car.  So it's not crucial that I find everything.
I just really like odd parts and since I have a radio delete plate now I have been looking for the heater delete plate to accompany the radio delete.
I had no idea there was a passengers side vent housing.  Have not seen one.  But I will keep an eye out now.
With my luck I figure I will eventually end up with a heater delete car.

Really appreciate the pictures of the parts that go with the delete plate.  Is there a part number on the passengers side vent housing?   And is there a handle and cable that goes to that vent?  I would assume they are unique as well.

I've read through the parts catalog. And this is one of those items that unless you had a cavity part number off the part it is really difficult to decider out of the parts book.  because how that is listed I would have never thought that it would be heater delete bezel. I also do not see anywhere in the text on just the block out plate. Can someone read that number on the back.

Meh: I'd make one before paying that much.
I made mine. Saved about $1975.00!!!  :bradsthumb:

As Bob provided the part number is 3431042.

Here's a photo of the heater delete backside showing the part number 3431042

Note this plate was attached using the method of melting the plastic studs

The Hawaii detail is why these cars are heater delete, the option wasn't offered to 49 states only Hawaii, or like my old 71 Hemi Challenger which was ordered on Guam
