Are Shakers really this expensive now?
The bubble is available after the 7500 for the hood.

I hope he gets every penny he's asking for...It makes mine that much more valuable. I read somewhere that a shaker hood option (originally equipped, not the million fake's) added 10% value to the price of the car..... so a quality restoration on a desirable car makes the price a little less outrageous.

I sold one about a year ago for $1600. No trim ring and it needed body/repair work but was not rusty and in mostly original paint. Had it for about 25 years.

He musta got in deep if his current prices are 3x the going rate.

People weren't buying these originals ten years ago for 7500 were they?
That would have been the last year of Bush.  Definitely not the first year of Obama.
