Does anyone know the VIN or history of this T/A?

I don't know the car but wonder why it's so dirty under the hood?  It looks like someone parked it outside with the hood open during a dust storm, then cleaned the exterior later and forgot to clean the engine compartment!

Needs some details attended to for sure. Nice package though other than missing the rallye dash.

Looks like a nice car, I was paying attention to the blackout detail under the hood, the fender blackout is clear to the core support rather than break at the hood pin. And hood pin cable is mounted on the core support.  Makes me want to look closer...

Weird, black door panels blue seats and reddish brown carpet.  "Restored in original color scheme"

I know people don't like the hassle of selling a car but going to Mecum paying a buyers fee of an additional 10%, 12 % if on line, $ 200 just to show up and is non refundable, marketing fees, your time slot fee and in the end you don't know much about a car as it sails across the stage......there has got to be a better way to do this for buyers and sellers....Bring a Trailer has not been the booming success they thought either. When people buy a car they need to be comfortable up front(research, talk to seller, see the action on the car) then let the emotion take over and hopefully at the end it was a good experience. The Sellers knows that the car is heading to a good home, buyer is happy with dream purchase......without fees, fees, and more fees and the least connected experience on the face of the earth. Welcome to the car auction, here is your cocktail....now go buy something.

car was here in Las Vegas with a long term owner & was sold a couple of years ago (late-'17/early-'18) - showed up on-line shortly after at a AZ classic car dealership

originally 340+6 4-speed * EB3 with the H6B5 interior - added black interior "accents" (I'll "assume" it was all black at one time & the owner was slowly changing back to blue)  & added vinyl top
non-original engine - VIN is from an AAR * non-original transmission * original fender tag * NO broadcast sheet

Now this is what an EB3 Challenger T/A should look like: JH23J0B307210  :drooling:

Car sold for $ 58K, a buyer Premium was $ 5800 so total $ 63,800. Add in registration/sales tax of 5.6% to 7.25% (since its price is public now) another $ 3,573 and if transport required $ 2K to $ 3k and your into this car for close to $ 70,000....hmmm. I leave my Price opinion to myself but I wonder why the Blue in the engine bay is different than the blue body color

anlauto

Well...it is a 4 speed T/A....I don't think they are giving them away anytime soon :dunno: . In my opinion, this one needs a full restoration :alan2cents:

2 years ago i sold a car at Mecum Glendale and was very disappointed, not only did i lose my ass on the car but they had it on the block less than 15 seconds, I guess if your not selling a high dollar car they really don't care what it sells for. I for one will never again sell at one of these auctions

I have to agree, I'd never sell at one of those auctions if it was a run of the mill car.  You constantly see really nice or driver quality cars being sold without reserve in thirty seconds for 1/4 of what the owner has in the restoration.  Good for buyers I guess, but I'm also not paying all the tacked on fees.  Fun to watch, but like the blackjack table, I'll stand back and let the "experts" go at it.
