Hello everyone, I am trying to keep my car as original as possible and currently I have a burned connector that the original owner of the car prior to me bypassed with a butt splice. I have found the white connector in the attached photos (appears to be the same as the connectors that plug into the bulkhead) however, I cannot for the life of me locate the black connector. My harness is in good original condition and I cannot justify replacing the entire engine harness when all I need is one connector. I am also curious if there is a diagram anywhere or chart that shows proper gauge and color of wires for the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

@tdwnilla1   :welcome: Welcome to the site!  We have a lot of the wiring diagrams for the 1970 model cars, but not yet for the 73's.

It might be worth checking to see if the colors are still the same.  Also, there's guys on here that might be able to get you that connector if you need it.

Thank you, I will definitely check to see if it all matches and hopefully someone knows where to get the connector because I definitely need it !!

Bullitt-

I've searched the www for this several times, even called Evans Wiring that reproduces harnesses.
Apparently not reproduced & must have been a 1 or 2 year only thing.  I was able to find a used harness with a better one than I had.  Let us know if you find a source

Good Luck

Year one has 73 harnesses, they are made to match OEM and are very good, I've not long ago bought them for my 73

 :iagree:

Bought all new wires from them and have zero complaints.  Sometimes they have 30% sales so if you can wait its worth it as being frugal in the wiring department is not worth it in my opinion.  Then again I am no wiring expert so if you can fix it...go for it.

Thanks, I'm looking for just the connector though.
