My wipers have stopped parking properly. When I turn off the switch the wipers will continue for about another 30 degrees, in the direction of trying to park, then stop. So I can get them parked by turning off the switch at the right time.
:dunno:
What controls the parking function?

The park mode is mechanically activated by the motor, usually the park work or not... Your problem could be in the crank arm / linkage set up, make sure there is no play , loose between those parts ( worn bushings / crank arm )

Wow! That's an impressive pic. Do you sell kits or run a refurbishing business?

I recently installed the wiper motor and arm assembly because they were out of the car when I got it.  Parking was intermittent and variable.  It was suggested that grounding could be an issue. I added a bond wire directly from the battery Neg to the motor housing and performance improved significantly.  I replaced that wire with a little one on the mounting bolt and it was better than initially but not as good as the dedicated wire.  This tells me I still have some grounding issues, likely in the dash assembly.  So moral of the story is make sure the switch assembly in the dash is bonded well and the motor to the firewall, to the frame, to the battery, etc...
