Does anyone have any first-hand experience with the Vintage Auto Radio?  It checks the box on my #1 priority when shopping, Made int eh USA.

I am looking for a modern Bluetooth radio for our car.  I have also read that there is a guy who retrofits modern guts into old radios.  Does anyone have any experience with this guy's product?  Does anyone have his contact info?

I bought my son a very nice, new in box under dash 8 track player for the Challenger.  It came with the receipt from radio shack from 1980.   My intention is to wire it into the aux input of the new radio.  I may need an attenuator since the 8 track player is meant to drive the speakers directly.   I told him NOTHING says the 1970's like an 8 Track player.  Even got him a pretty big selection of 8 tracks.  At this point, he has it all hooked up in his room and playing them there until the car is ready for it.

Now we need the radio for it to go with.

I have the Vintage Auto radio and have for a little while now. Overall it's pretty good and I'd buy it again. It almost has too much power, the slightest volume adjustment makes a large difference in output.

I purchased one this past fall for my father. The radio is a quality piece. The only complaint I had was that it took 16 weeks to receive it. (A little frustrating when you were told 6-8 weeks). For $100 more YearOne had them in stock at the time although availability could be subject to change. Wasn't Vintage Auto's fault as Steve's just a dealer on those. He can retrofit your old radio if you send it in to him if you have one.
