Any suggestions for a new stereo receiver (manufacturer and model #) that will fit a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda without alterations? Looking for the newest technologies (Built-in Bluetooth for hands free calling and audio streaming, Adjustable illumination and brightness, detachable faceplate, etc.). I checked the OE replica's and not looking to spend $800.00 and waiting 6 months for delivery. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Recently went through THREE separate installations till I finally found one I like....

This has a fairly big LCD screen and is easy to navigate once you get used to it. Has all the bells n whistles, including a back-up cam wiring if you want to purchase a back-up cam later.

Paired it with these and let me tell you, I can be LOUD when I want now  :)

Did you install a separate amp or is the 45 watts from the receiver enough?

ragtopdodge

e-bodies are all single DIN.

You can fit ANYTHING in there!  You have literally hundreds of thousands of options w/o any cutting.

Or did you want something that LOOKS OEM?

Thanks. I am also considering a similar Alpine model.

@Scooter
No need for amp. This is a VERY loud crisp, clear setup for a reasonable price. Like I said...took me 3 tries to get it right. No cut out at idle or any other problems.

This is what I am putting in my Cuda.

This is one of the 3 I tried! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BJM6H51/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 VERY similar to yours.

Pretty good but would only go to I think volume 23 or so which is pretty loud but it started to distort louder than that.
I am n old school Detroit rocker and if I had hair it would be loooong ;) I needed louder so went with option I posted above.

I went with a little 4x75w Rockford amp. Its gonna make the 6x9's in the rear deck and 3.5" dash speakers scream. :) I WAS going to do a full blown system in the Cuda, but decided it's was just a bit much for the old iron. The car is going to appear mostly stock.
