anybody tried to repair his clock? I have three non working clocks in my E bodies, they look perfect and maybe work for 20 or so seconds. but that's all. Is there a good way to disassemble ans repair them? Thank you

One of the gauge rebuilders sell a kit to rebuild the clocks , I have done a couple of them .
Trying to remember the company 3 letter name

Don't repair them, generally replace the guts with new.
I believe R-3035 is the kit number?

I used the r3035 kit.  Take your time and follow the instructions, not to bad of a workbench job. Be careful with the "hands", and re- doing the rivets without marring the face tricky but doable.

Many times the points need to be cleaned and the mechanism oiled.
The MFR of the quartz conversion also does electric repairs.

Depends on what you want, the original style ticking or a continuous sweep from quartz.
