I'm trying to solve a mystery; 1970 'Cuda with new Classic Industries harness, wiper switch wiring connectors do not match. I suspect the 3-speed switch in the dash is from a 72-74. The main 4-pin connector plugs on, but the 2-pin with green and red wires does not. Wipers run constantly on low speed no other speeds work There are two empty terminals on the back of the switch, but the configuration does not match the connector. If I could find diagrams for both switches with an explanation for what each wire does, I could probably figure out how to re-pin and make it work.

Bruce Somer, He is a member here. I can't remember his user name. Good guy and vary knowledgeable.  :alan2cents:                Found it, @Ns1aar  He can talk you through it.

I believe you just need to connect the green wire to the bottom terminal.

Split out the red and green and connect as pictured. Don't forget to ground the switch/switch plate to test, it will run at a constant speed and not park if the switch case is not grounded.

Great Forum, tons of information. I don't own an E-body; I do custom Automotive wiring. I will however try to post a pic of this particular car I'm working on; it a pretty wild build. Something about those 4 letters.........
