So my rally gauges have four points of contact on the dash frame and I can't imagine that's the ground as the case for the gauges is plastic.  Does it ground via the wiring harness?

As for the Heat and wiper bezel I think I'm pointing to the ground.... correct?

And lastly does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning up the terminal ends of my switches as a look pretty nasty?  Sand paper?  I have lacquer thinner and mineral spirits and denatured alcohol and all kinds of random stuff right now.

I understand to put the dielectric grease on everything as I reassemble.

Thanks in advance.  So close to being done restoring parts.

The gauges themselves ground through their sending units.... All the light bulbs (turn signals, high beam, the IVR, the tach, the clock) ground through those four mounting points... Yes you have the switch pod ground pinpointed...  Now look at the light bar that mounts above the cluster & note it's ground too....

I know this might be a silly question but does anyone know whether or not you even see this vent as it looks pretty good so I'm thinking I should just clean it up and not restore it?

There's not much to restoring those things, just paint the rusty steel parts with a fresh coat of silver. :alan2cents:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Thanks guys.  Does anyone have any recommendations on how to clean the switches?

I rub connectors with emery cloth to clean them,

I've used 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper or metal polish. I didn't want to remove too much surface metal from the spade connectors.
