When I got the dash back into the RT, I found I had a bunch of electrical issues. I spent some time with my head under the dash and have most everything working perfectly. A bad ground here, a loose connection there. The turn signals and four way hazards are the only things not working. Rear tail light and brake lights work perfect.

My primary question is will the turn signal and hazard flasher work if if the front end components are disconnected? I still have the hood and fenders off the car so all lighting equipment on the front end is still not plugged in.

I've attached pics of the flashers under the dash in case I plugged one in wrong. I saw no other plugs they could go to though. The one hanging free is near the steering column but not sure where it clips to. The other one is near the ashtray.

You'll need the front harness components for those circuits to work properly..

Ok, perfect! I'll dig them out and plug them in just for testing. I'm holding off putting in the bucket seats until I'm positive I won't have to crawl under the dash anymore.

Don't forget, it's not just a matter of plugging in the harness and lights with no front sheetmetal...If you go that route you'll need some temporary grounds for the harness and various components..

Yes, should be easy just for testing.

Ok so I hooked everything up with grounds for testing. All running lights and turn signals work perfectly.

The four way hazard is still not functioning for some reason. In the photo above, there is a green banded flasher hanging loose and this appears to be the four way flasher. Is there a way to test the flasher module itself? Also, where would the metal holder clip to? I didn't see a spot for it. It's near the steering column.

I found an extra hazard flasher from another car and plugged it in just for testing. Still nothing. Any ideas?

Turn signal flasher clips to the ashtray , 4 way is on the column , you could have 2 bad flashers or if you have power to the flasher the turn signal switch may be faulty

The turn signal flasher is working good and is clipped to the ashtray. I'll find a spot on the column for the other one. The column switch is original but it seemed so nice that I did not bother replacing it during the column rebuild. If it is the column switch, it's staying in there. The turn signals work great and the cancelling cams are still intact and that is more important to me.

Another thread to add my new picture too.
