Hello,

Can anyone tell me what these wires are for?  When we bought the car, the dash was out of the car and the harness was disconnected.  But these 2 wires were connected into the fuse box.  I have no idea.

Neither one are factory wires, so no telling what someone was using them for ?  :alan2cents:

Probably for the 8 track player that someone put in the glove box like we all did back then!

Ok, thank you.  Should there be any wire at all or should these be open?

For a stock set up, those 2 terminals don't normally have anything connected to them.

From the looks of the one with the fuse holder it looks like a noise suppressor, so, probably what Rich said. A not very professional stereo installation.

These connections were for anything external to the wiring harness:

Could be a CB radio, Stereo, gauges or anything that needed 12v switched source.
