I used a Interstate group 27 for two years until I bought one of the reproduction red cap batteries.  No issues with the group 27 other than having to use different hold down hardware.

I just did a California road trip, and Costco in California only had the dual terminal group 27's for marine and RV for $89.00 USD
I checked in Oregon on the way home and they had the group 27 that I needed for my 70 Cuda $99.00USD and no tax! It did however cost $15.00 as I didn't supply a core
WAY cheaper than buying one in BC.

Justin, Glad you posted that picture. The date sticker is April 2022. They are supposed to rotate the batteries at 6 months if they haven't sold.
Also, I know everybody knows but Whenever you purchase a battery, new or otherwise, it should have a deep, slow charge put in it before you use it.
Also I saw the temporary/emergency positive cable end. The cables should always be replaced when they get to the point of cutting and splicing them. Acid actually wicks up the cable, so it may look good when you cut the end but there will be acid up under the insulation where you can't see it.
New cables are available and not very expensive.

What's different about the hold down HW?
27 should be same height as 24?
