Hi Guys,

I have a couple of questions pertaining to the picture below:

1. My original horns were toast so under the recommendations of you guys I bought 2 more.  They test great.  My question is that the new horns have two spades on each.  Not one like the originals.  Do I just cut the 2 green wires (red circle) and separate them and then move a ground to the other horn from those green wire?  I may be off there also.  Let me know how to work them so I can power both horns.  Thanks

2. Can someone tell me where the wire circled in blue goes?  Thanks

Hmmmm
My horns only require the 12v wires. The ground is supplied through the bolting to the body. No ground wire.

The blue circled wire is extra. Unplug it and toss it way. Then plug the brown where it came from, onto the power windshield washer pump.

As for the horns with two spades ??? When you tested them did one spade need to be grounded ? Or is one spade HI and one LOW ? Did both spades need power at the same time to work the horn ?

Answer these questions first and that will tell you what to do with the wiring. :alan2cents:

The wiring isn't in the car yet. I'd like to have this rectified prior to installation as I would like to splice it all on the bench.  Thanks

I was asking about the two spades on the horns....the wiring shouldn't need any splicing. :alan2cents:

If one spade on each horn needs to be grounded in order for the horn to work, then just make up two real short wires that go from the one spade on each horn to each mounting bolt. Then just plug in the wire harness like normal to the other spade on each horn
