Multimeter How to use

Hi,
Just revisiting an old post regarding multi-meters. It is an AstroAI from Amazon. Am just looking to do some basic trouble shooting. Of course the manual is not helpful. Is there some sort of literature out there?

Plenty out there on YouTube in using multimeters. That meter you mention will do what you want, and  a lot more.

Yeah, I searched Astro A1 on YouTube and found a few.

Not sure what you are looking for exactly, but with older cars you are usually taking the negative lead and attaching it to ground/frame. Then using the positive lead to find whether you have 12vdc at a point/switch terminal.......or not...
