Afraid to do anything until confirmed. Orange(light bulb) and brown are connected together to 12volt source and wires with plastic ends are for speakers ? Does a ground fastened to support bolt on side or does the antenna do it ?  Its an AM only radio that I plan on selling, but I want to verify that it still works. Had been in my 70 Cuda, but its been on a self for over almost 15 years. While I have your attention..... IF it does work, whats it worth ? Knobs work for volume and tuning, but buttons are hit and miss.

The 'brown' wire is actually red primary power, yours is just really dirty. The orange and the red are supposed to have their own plug. The green and black are the mono speaker wires. I have a thread from a week or two ago showing where I rebuilt mine by tearing out the internal electronics and installing a Bluetooth / USB module while still using the original volume knob. Value-wise, seen them used anywhere from 100 to 275 ish

Growing older is mandatory...growing up is optional.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Here's a good video on how to bench test your radio.
