Orange instrument lamps, where do they get power?

Confirmed from a recently unwrapped factory harness.  The orange triple outlet is fed directly from the radio illumination connector...

I started a thread on this exact subject as I am having the same problem. No power at block, jump a wire to it and the circuit powers up and the lights work. Even after removing the headlight switch and dimmer and jumping those to try and eliminate them as a culprit there's still nothing........

Mine ended up being the dimmer switch at the end of the day. It was working intermittently at certain positions only so was throwing me off for a bit, but as long as you have power going to the black wire of the dimmer when the headlight switch is on, if you don't have power on the tan wire leaving the dimmer, it's the dimmer...
