Im working on some electrical and got to the point I am dealing with relays and flashers and have several questions. Hopefully someone can help.

1. Can I use the same part for both Hazards and Turn signals?
2. Where do people source them from? I see some turn signals but haven't found Hazards anywhere.
3 Do all challengers have a headlight delay relay? Is this the located by the driver side kick panel? I don't seem to have one.
4 What is the relay just to the right of the glove box? Time delay or Key in buzzard? Do all Challengers have this or was it an option?
5 Is the Key in buzzard the diode or is there a relay?

Sorry for all the questions, but it isn't easy to figure out all this stuff. LOL

Thanks

Rich G.

1 and 2 are the same flasher. Pretty much the same 2 prong flasher in every car back then. Some are HD , some make noise but they'll all work except with some led's

RE: 4 & 5 - That's the key-in relay/buzzer, all cars should have one. Not an option and not a diode.

#3: I can only speak for the '70 model year. No, not every Challenger came with a headlight delay.

Awesome, thanks all. That is helpful. I am getting ready to start troubleshooting why my headlights aren't working and looking for something that doesn't exist seems like a waste of time.  :looney: I got one flasher so I will put that into the turn signal slot to fix that, and check to see if the hazards work or not. I didn't hear any buzzard, so I will have probably have to change that out as well.
