What wirecolour on the wipermotor is the slow speed??

Lots of good info in this thread

Reply#7 has a link by passion4mopars to bench test the wiper motor. If everything works then the switch is suspect.

The wiper motor hasa number i have been googled, it says 3 speed-variable... but the switch is a 2 speed ... what switch do i need

Has this system worked in the past. If so check all your grounds including the switch. Does the switch have 2 solid clicks or a click and a clockwise sweep.
you can contact me if you like been doing this awhile

Is the 3 speed and the variable switch wired the same/same connector...

Ns1aar

No they are not 2 entirely different connectors and pin out

My favorite comparison picture. Courtesy of Slotts I believe.
Clicking on the pic enlarges it to read the tags better.

Here is the switch connector, i checked the wires from connector to bulk and its fine. But the blue wire is missing in the wiper motor harness ant to the bulk ! I have the 3 speed switch since its a 3 speed motor and the connections on the switch is ohmed out and no issues there but it still doesent work , ground the switch panel to the battery neg

Jay Bee

Are you saying you only have 3 wires in the wiper motor connector instead of 4.
Here's my 3431077 variable speed wiper motor before going into the car.
