1971 383 fuel line

I am replacing my aftermarket Holley with a correct original Holley.

This is the fuel line I removed. This is the reproduction line from Year One.

What am I missing?

Also the line coming off the frame has this press fitting. Does that mean it's an original hose?

Shouldn't my PS hose have that type of press fitting?

The clamp in your last picture is a factory original clamp.
The clamp on your PS hose is not. You'll never find a gear clamp like that on a Mopar from the factory. The PS hose uses a different clamp altogether.

The fuel line is confusing. It's called a "one piece" line from the pump to the carb, but it's obviously not....it looks to connect to a fuel filter which would require another hard line after the filter.

Thank you for the picture. My fuel pump has the line coming directly out of the bottom pointing to the floor and rubber hose attaches directly to that. So if that fitting does not screw out of the fuel pump and allow me to put in a 45° fitting to except a hard portion of the line depicted in that photo I likely have the wrong fuel pump. I didn't realize it was an in-line filter. So the portion sold by Year One is only from the carburetor to the rubber section of hose that attaches to the in-line fuel filter.

What about the heater hoses? How are they bound and what secures them to the inner fender well? For some reason I don't think that electrical tape attached to the ignition wires was correct from the factory.

I suppose I should replace that rubber line off frame for safety if it's original. If it goes it can spray gas on exhaust manifold.

Is that style clamp reproduced? I've only seen them on PS lines.

The above picture of the green car show the correct heater hose routing. There's one plastic strap that secures the hoses near the shock tower.

Yes, it's aluminum, some people put them on, I personally don't, I think they were only used on AC cars...but it's a hit or miss as to whether or not they were on all the cars when they were new. Depending on if you buy a new hose kit or not, it's usually included....As you can see I don't use them...
