Hey Guys,

I'm reinstalling my water pump, it's a FlowKooler Hi-Flow Mechanical Water Pump.  The weep hole seems huge compared to stock pumps.  It look threaded but it's not.  It's 7/16" in diameter.  Am I questioning over nothing?

Thanks Dave

It has no effect , there is only air between the brgs , the seal is preventing coolant getting to that hole unless the seal has failed

I figured thanks for the confirmation Neil.

As Neil noted no issue.
Simply a venting hole during assembly process. Added bonus is they allow for an early reminder when bearings start to fail and tear up the seal.
