I went to mount my clutch/brake pedal assembly and I discovered I need to drill two new holes in the firewall
for the clutch pedal side of the bracket. This must be where the little reinforcing bracket (on the engine side)
goes through.
This is on 70 Cuda that started out with a Slant 6 / auto / 7.25 rear.

By chance does anyone have hole locations & dimensions ? I guess I could kind of wing it.

It's been my experience that it's best to put the four speed pedal bracket in the car, mark the holes and drill from the inside :alan2cents:

I was just looking at it, that appears to be a good plan.

Thanks Anlauto, I am very grateful for your numerous replies and help !

Often the firewall is dimpled exactly where the holes need to be .

You will also need to drill for the reverse light wire that goes thru the firewall. You need a hole for the clutch safety switch if you are using one.
